Granite is the strongest and most heat resistant of the natural materials used for kitchen worktops. Once sealed it will last for 10 to 15 years before it needs to be retreated. The material is formed deep underground where the heat required to create it dissipates slowly.

Granite is the perfect surface for kitchen worktops but many people opt for man-made synthetic materials because they think granite worktops are just too expensive. Optiplan is well aware of this so we founded Granite Dynamics in 2003 to offer all our customers the option of beautiful granite kitchen worktops at prices to match their budgets.

Once you place an order for granite worktops the process can begin.

• If you have ordered a new Optiplan kitchen then the whole process will be managed for you, however if you have ordered it separately then you need to: - Ensure that the old worktops have been removed and disposed of - Arrange for any tradesmen required to disconnect and reconnect your appliances and plumbing
• Our stonemasons will make a visit to create a template for your granite worktop.
• At our factory we will cut and polish the granite, applying any etched finishes you have requested.
• Our Masons will return and install the granite worktops.
